"My work in jewelry is an expression of the things that move and stimulate me. My time in the outdoors, hiking in the woods, trail riding on my horse or sitting by a creek observing the movement of flowing water is translated into stone and metal. I believe that the simplistic beauty of the forms found in nature is art in and of itself. I aspire to observe color, texture and movement in nature. Each of those elements stimulates my creativity and rises to the surface in each piece.

Using only natural stones that I have personally selected, each piece is formed by hand in traditional labor-intensive processes. The natural beauty of the stone is used in harmony with precious metals of copper and silver. The designs are simplistic, never taking away from the stone's personality. The stone is the centerpiece and is treated as such. Hammered metal is a preferred finish of mine. I love the rustic, organic feel it gives. As a result, each is a piece of art made to be worn. Each is unique, one-of-a-kind and only gets better with the passing of time.
