Every month for 3rd Friday Argenta ArtWalk, Laman Library's Argenta Branch hosts different artists from around the state, many of whom perform live demonstrations of their work while sharing tricks of the trade.

Lynn Sudderth - September 17

In September, artist Lynn Sudderth will make some of her "egg"cellent clay creations during ArtWalk.

"My sculptures based around "egg" people have been modeled as if they were real personalities," Sudderth said. "Gestures, positions, and accessories all become a part of the egg persona. I think people laugh and grin when they see the eggs because they can relate to them. They recognize themselves and their friends."

Marlene Gremillion - August

Gremillion's work focuses heavily on the exploration of light and texture, often in a nature setting.

Gremillion is a signature member of Mid-Southern Watercolorists of Arkansas and the Louisiana Watercolor Society.  She is a charter member of the Ouachita River Art Guild in West Monroe, Louisiana and a member of Brush Strokes in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
