Laman Library To Participate in Argenta Art Walk

North Little Rock, Ark. (March 17, 2010) – The William F. Laman Public Library announced Wednesday that its Argenta Branch is now participating in the monthly Argenta Art Walk.

This Friday, Laman Library will feature an outdoor demonstration by Amy Hill-Imler, a well-known local artist formerly represented at ArtSpace.

Laman Library will continue to host artist demonstrations throughout the year as a part of Argenta Art Walk in an effort to contribute to a burgeoning community focus on the arts in Argenta. Argenta Art Walk occurs every third Friday of the month.

"We're ecstatic to be a destination in the Argenta Art Walk and contribute to the cultural significance of that fantastic community event," Laman Library Executive Director Jeff Baskin said.

Hill-Imler, known largely in the area for her nonobjective paintings, represents at Red Door Gallery in North Little Rock.

Laman Library's Argenta Branch is located at 506 Main St.
